About Me
Originally from the Bay Area, I am a therapist, consultant, researcher and speaker. I hold two master’s degrees: one in clinical psychology with specializations in applied community psychology and psychological trauma studies, and the other in counseling psychology. My B.A. is from Stanford University in urban studies with a focus on urban education, and African and African American studies.
I have been seeing adults and children in therapy since 2017 and have trained at UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, Kaiser Permanente, Jenesse Domestic Violence Shelter among other places.
I currently split my time between clinical work as a therapist and research. I have co-authored several academic journal articles related to working with families with young children. I frequently present to K-12 schools, colleges, and professional organizations on topics related to mental health for families with young children, managing behavior challenges, and the impacts of trauma on children and adults.
Healing is possible — and I’m here to help you achieve it.
